Driver signs new 5-year deal

Speculation linking 20-year-old Hearts winger Andy Driver away from the club officially ended today when the player agreed to a new five year contract. He is now contracted to the club until the summer of 2013.

Tullberg out for three weeks

Danish striker Mike Tullberg, currently on trial with Hearts, has ruptured a muscle in his leg, according to the Edinburgh Evening News, and will be unable to train for around three weeks.

New contracts for youngsters

Hearts today continued their every-growing emphasis on youth by handing new contracts to youngsters Ryan McGowan and Stephen Husband. McGowan signed a five year deal, which he signed back in April but is only taking effect now, while Husband has signed up until 2011.

Kaiserslautern v Hearts preview

Livingston enquire about Basso

 According to an article in today’s Edinburgh Evening News, Livingston has enquired about the availability of French Goalkeeper Anthony Basso, after he was left out in the cold by Hearts. The 29-year-old was left out of the twenty-five man squad that travelled to their pre-season camp in Germany.
